Xinjiang was called the western region in ancient times. The kunlun and altai mountains lie in the north and south, while the tianshan mountains lie in the middle, dividing xinjiang into the north and the south. The vast grasslands to the north of the tianshan mountain nurtures the brave and skillful nomadic tribes. At the southern edge of the takaramagan desert, rivers flowing from the snow-capped mountains breed a distinctive oasis culture.
Between the north and south of this ancient and mysterious tianshan mountain, there is a famous grand canyon, which is the only way leading to the ancient muzat road of the south and the north tianshan mountain. It is a magnificent scenery that cannot be missed during the journey of the great beauty of xinjiang: tomr grand canyon, also known as the “kutuluk grand canyon”.
It is composed of two large main valleys and hundreds of small gullies, with an area of more than 200 square meters. It is the red-layer canyon with the largest scale and highest aesthetic value in the south and north of tianshan mountain. It is known as the “king of valleys”, and some people describe it as the coronora canyon of China.
But in fact, the charm of tuomuer grand canyon, unique features, distribution of rock salt karst landform, danxia landform, yadan landform, salt dome bottom split tectonic landform. On June 21, 2013, xinjiang tianshan mountain was listed as a world natural heritage site by the United Nations and UNESCO. The tomur area, where the tomur grand canyon is located, is the largest of the four tianshan mountain heritage sites, accounting for 59.87% of the entire area of the tianshan mountain heritage site.
The rocks in the canyon are mostly red, and if the sky is blue, the red is even more brilliant. But no matter when, the beauty here is always magnificent.
You can not take out the south that a set of wenwan and handsome to describe it, nor can it be a simple northwest of the rugged, it is distributed a lot of magical landforms, have tianshan blessing, this is north and south any place of the canyon can not be comparable.
Even the coronora grand canyon in the United States does not exhibit the exquisite grandeur of the tuomuer grand canyon in xinjiang’s tianshan mountains.
Walking into the canyon, there are many stone carvings like arhats and buddhas on the rock. Although it is a rare scene created by the extraordinary workmanship of nature, many ancient rock carvings and rock paintings have been found in the grassland area north of tianshan mountain and south of altai mountain. The most common patterns in rock paintings are sheep, deer and other animals, reflecting the content of nomadic life in ancient times.
However, I don’t know whether there are similar rock paintings in the tomuer grand canyon, which is uninhabited and seems to be the existence of any animal.
Drive into the belly heart of the canyon, I chose the entrance of no. 2 valley, on the loess sand stone, the front is the secret. In spite of the crowds of tourists and vehicles passing by, the valley, with its zigzags and zigzags, is still a vast and desolate place, surrounded by red cliffs and various stone peaks and pillars.
Nor do the excited tourists seem to be going in and out in search of an ancient civilization. They are walking or riding in an suv and looking up into the valley. The fantastic and huge red landform, the rich and vivid pictographic shape, the rare species of desperate growth constitute the grand canyon unique point of view.
And this kind of scenery, only xinjiang has, it is known as “living geological history museum”, has been included in the “national geopark” list. Although no one told me if there were any ancient civilizations in the valley, there were even “ancient attics” and “buddhas” on some of the walls, which, from a distance, I really thought were left by ancient craftsmen.
Xinjiang, located in the hinterland of Asia, highlights the ancient land transportation between the east and the west. Today’s Chinese Buddhism was first introduced from the western regions. Therefore, in xinjiang, in addition to the beautiful scenery, there is also an amazing ancient culture.
In the east of tomr grand canyon, there is a buddhist grotto that attracts explorers and archaeologists from all over the world: the kizil thousand Buddha grotto in baicheng, which is one of the four largest buddhist grottoes in the world and also the oldest of the four largest buddhist grottoes, with a history of more than 2,000 years.
So it always struck me that in the depths of the grand canyon or in some obscure corner there must be some profound cultural heritage. If the rumor is true, xuanzang must have left something behind. & have spent
I do not know how long to go, found around except occasionally visible green plants and visitors, here almost no living things, just exclaiming, lost the signal of the mobile phone as if in the early warning of what. Finally, I found a tiny beehive with two wasps in a gap in the wall. It was the only animal I had ever found in the canyon.
What is common in life has become rare here. What, then, would human beings, without their signals and networks, end up in vast, isolated desert canyons? Only civilization can save. Human beings developed because of civilization, so developed human beings will be so active to create more civilizations, to find more civilizations.
So the tomr canyon gave me a thrill and a lot to think about. After all, it is different from coronora grand canyon. The similarity of the canyon cannot replace the unique cultural features, and the “king of the canyon” is the only scenery in xinjiang.
