Sound Touch Lite Set to Continue its Winning Streak with Version 3.21

Simplicity is the key to a successful app for kids, and Sound Touch Lite – the latest version in the wildly popular Sound Touch series – is designed with both the simplicity and the success in mind.

Sound Touch creates a fun learning experience for babies and children, all at the touch of a little finger. The educational game features six categories of birds, musical instruments, household items and other objects that work like flash cards for the very young, who don’t quite have the language development and words they need to interact. The game is a helpful tool for children along the autism spectrum too.

“It streamlines the experience for babies and children,” explains game designer Eran Talmor, owner of SoundTouch Interactive and its complete line of educational apps. “Tap a picture, and a real life photo of the item pops open, accompanied by the sound it makes. Tap the picture anywhere, and it disappears.”

The “lite” app features 133 amazing pictures and sounds from the original Sound Touch, with five or six rotating elements for each item. There’s no menu, so the app opens right into each activity and holds the child’s attention as he or she plays. Parents love the educational value and the ease of Sound Touch, especially among preschool ages 2 to 4, and kids love the bright colors and engaging sounds in the app.

Sound Touch Lite is available in 33 different languages, and has been downloaded more than 2 million times since its 2010 launch. This new version 3.21 includes quick fixes to enhance the app’s appeal, and continue the Sound Touch mission of providing superior products for parents and children worldwide.
