View and Set Event Locations on a Map:
Event mapping provides several new features to Perspectiva. View the location of an Event on a map, or drop a pin on the map to set an event location. Locations can be street addresses, if online and available, or coordinates. Pins for multiple event locations can be placed on the map. Map pin annotations include the event title, date and time, and street address or coordinate. View directions in the Maps app. The user’s current street address or coordinate can be used to create events. Event mapping is an optional In-App Purchase add-on.

Create Events From Contacts, Including Map Addresses:
Events can be created by selecting a contact in user’s Contacts database on the iPad or iPhone, or enter a contact name as the event location and Perspectiva will automatically lookup the street address from Contacts and place a pin on the map.

Create Custom Graphic Calendars:
Create sophisticated calendar graphics with a custom background image and color, fonts, font colors, transparency, and variations of the user’s calendar colors. Select background images from the photo library, a set of built-in background textures and landscapes, or take a new photo using the camera on the iPad, iPhone or iPod touch. Create custom calendar images for media, business, school or home. All views support hi-resolution Retina(TM) displays, and are printable via AirPrint to AirPrint compatible printers.

Time Management, Usage Charts and Calculations:
Use Perspectiva’s pie, bar and line charts to present time usage for a set of calendars (projects, clients, or activities). Line charts display how time use is distributed for selected calendars over a span of time, such as a week, month or year, or a custom time range.

For time billing, Perspectiva provides time calculations and event logs, including total hours, total owed, number of events and total amount, minimum, maximum and average duration, based on user’s filter and calculation settings, including rate per hour. Copy and paste event logs with time/billing calculations into user reports or e-mails, or export logs as CSV or TSV files for use in database or spreadsheet apps.

Calendar Filtering:
Perspectiva’s unique custom filter lets users easily choose a set of calendars, a date range, and a text search. The filter works with the calendar, list, chart and calculations views, and for event log exports. The flexible filtering provides for time analysis and calculations.

Intuitive Calendar Navigation:
Touch gestures navigate day, week and month calendar views.
